Forum: classic_tv Subject: 1951 NBC telecasts held by Library of Congress/1950s Wrestling held by UCLA/1961 Aussie episodes held by National Film and Sound Archive

I post these threads so that those who live near these archives can in some cases view these recordings. The following is a list of 1940s/1950s wrestling telecasts held by the UCLA Film and Television Archive.

Note: Telecasts listed as being DuMont may actually be episodes of "Wrestling from Marigold", or "Wrestling from Columbia Park", or another series. Is it not clear if these are DuMont network telecasts, or telecasts produced by the various under-funded yet over-productive DuMont's affiliates, such as WGN-TV.

Note 2: Paramount Television Network operated for from around 1949 to about 1956. It was never a true network, and some consider it to be a syndication service. Their biggest hit was "Time for Beany". Many of their series were produced by KTLA.

"At the Ringside with the Rasslers" (unidentified issue. Produced for syndication in 1950 by Jerry Fairbanks, inc.)

The following is a list of 1961 Australian television episodes held by the National Film and Sound Archive.
I intentionally excluded specials and one-offs. The site is a pathetic mess, a lot of the listings have impossible dates, and overall it is more proof that Australians cannot create decent websites. Some of the listings had so little info that while they may be a series, I didn't list them here.

"ABC Melbourne Dance Band" - 1 episode (was this a special or a series?)
"All Star Bowling" - 1 episode
"Animal Parade" - various episodes
"The Annette Klooger Show" - 1 episode from 11 September 1961 (variety)
"ANZAC" - approx 26 episodes (documentary series on WW2)
"The Bobby Limb Show" - 5 episodes (variety)
"Cafe Continental" - 2 episodes, one from 10 August 1961 (variety)
"Consider Your Verdict" - maybe 44 episodes? (courtroom drama)
"Fancy Free" - 1 episode
"Freddo the Frog" - 7 episodes (animation)
"Graham Kennedy's Channel Nine Show" - 9 episodes, which are possibly incomplete (variety/comedy)
"In Melbourne Tonight" - 1 episode (variety/comedy)
"Hal lashwood's Minstels" - 2 or 3 episodes (blackface variety)
"The Happy Show' - 1 episode (childrens show)
"The Lorrae Desmond Show" - 13 episodes? (variety)
"The Johnny O'Keefe Show" - 1 episode (variety with emphasis on rock music)
"The Magic of Music" - 7 episodes? (variety)
"The Marvellous Munchkin Show" - 2 episodes
